Revive @ 5 Summer Concerts Hosted by Bannock Civitans

Join the Bannock Civitans as they once again host the Revive @ 5 Summer Concerts, every Wednesday night all Summer long.  This popular event draws hundreds of people to enjoy live music, delicious food, cold drinks and wonderful company.  Fun for the entire family!  This year's performance schedule is available on this web site under the Revive @ 5 tab.

Remember, the Farmers Market will be back again on Wednesday nights, too!  The Market will be open from 4:00 - 8:00pm.  Buy your favorite produce and handmade crafts while you enjoy the music.

Mike Banks Jazz Quartette - Live!

It's FINALLY FRIDAY and Old Town has live jazz at the Pavilion.  The Mike Banks Jazz Quartette will be performing live from 5-8pm.  A free concert!  Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a wonderful summer evening in Old Town.  The restaurants in Old Town will have dinner specials so stay and dine after the concert!

4th Annual Old Town Luau

It's time to drag out that Hawaiian shirt and those comfy flip-flops!  The Historic Old Town Pocatello Foundation will host the 4th Annual Old Town Luau on Saturday, August 7th.  We promise another exciting evening with traditional Polynesian Cuisine & Dancing!  How many shells and what size diamonds will we be giving away this year?  Tickets are limited to the first 200 and are on sale now.  Tickets are $75 per person, $150 per couple or $600 for a table of 8.  Tickets include dinner, live entertainment, and a 1 in 200 chance of winning diamonds worth over $10,000.  Reserve your tickets today by calling the Old Town office at 208-232-7545.  This event sells out every year, so get your tickets today! 

Orange & Black is Back! Welcome New ISU Students

The business community will welcome incoming ISU Freshmen students at this brand new event on Monday, August 23rd.  Orange & Black is Back! as we showcase our wonderful community.  Over 25 restaurants will offer samples, local businesses will provide information about products and services available to students and of course there will be live entertainment.  All businesses in Pocatello and Chubbuck are encouraged to support this event by decorating their businesses in orange and black for the entire week of August 23-29th.  We are a university town!  Let's show our orange and black pride!

The Southeast Idaho Paranormal Organization and Old Town Pocatello are excited to once again host the "Haunted History Tour."  Last year we had to turn people away so this year we've added an entire additional weekend!  Tour some of the most haunted buildings in Pocatello with our resident ghost investigators.  This year's tour promises to be even more thrilling, more exciting, and of coure scarier!  Tickets will go on sale in August.

Trick-or-Treat the Old Town Streets

Put on those costumes and come downtown for this traditional Halloween event.  Children of all ages will walk the sidewalks of Old Town collecting candy from all participating businesses.  Just look for the bright orange pumpkin posters.  The safest way for your family to enjoy Halloween is in Old Town Pocatello!

Ring in the Holidays & Night Lights Parade

Mark your calendars for this year's kick off to the holiday season.  The day after Thanksgiving Old Town comes alive with activity venues, music, live entertainment, shopping and wonderful food.  This year the activity venues will open at 1:00pm and delight our visitors until 6:00pm when Santa and Mrs. Claus depart for the parade which will begin at 6:30pm.  Watch for more details coming soon. 

First Friday Art Walk

5:00-8:00pm
First Friday of Each Month ALL Year Long

Old Town is alive with crowds of visitors on the first Friday of each month. from 5-8pm.  Don't miss this opportunity to view and experience art by local artists as well as regional and national artists. The walk includes over twenty businesses, restaurants and galleries, some with art on display, some with the artist on hand and some providing a live demonstration. Refreshments are available. You may also find live music along the way. All local residents and visitors are welcome. There is no charge to attend this monthly event. First Friday Coffeehouse

First Congregational Church

First Friday of Every Month

Be sure to visit the First Congregational Church on the first Friday of each month for the First Friday Coffeehouse. Beginning at 7:30pm, right as the First Friday Art Walk is winding down, local, regional and national acoustic musicians perform in the church hall. The general public is invited to attent. A small donation of $4 per person is requested and refreshments are available for purchase. Half of the proceeds from these monthly concerts go to the musicians and the other half is donated to local non-profit agencies such as Family Services Alliance, Aid for Friends and the Idaho Food Bank.
